“The Curries Group” is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. “The Curries Group” collects certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, company name, registration number, email address, home address, work address, telephone numbers, banking details (suppliers only), heating ventilation & air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment serial numbers as well as installation, repair & service history of that equipment. “The Curries Group” does not collect information on demographics, age, gender, preferences, interests, or favourites as this is not required in the normal course of our business.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by “The Curries Group”. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by “The Curries Group” for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the “The Curries Group” website.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through “The Curries Group” public message boards (e.g., Facebook), this information may be collected and used by others.

“The Curries Group” encourages you to review the privacy statements of Websites you choose to link to from “The Curries Group” so that you can understand how those Websites collect, use and share your information. “The Curries Group” is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the “The Curries Group” websites.

Conditions of Sale

The Customer hereby acknowledges that the storage, processing and use of their personal information provided to “The Curries Group” is necessary for pursuing the legitimate interests of “The Curries Group”. Please see the “privacy policy” on www.curries.co.za website for a detailed explanation on what personal information is collected, why it is collected, the security around the personal information as well as contact information should you wish to make changes or delete the personal information.

All goods remain the property of “The Curries Group” until payment is made in full.

Prices quoted are valid for 30 calendar days from date of quote.

Please ensure that all prices are inclusive of VAT as the company is VAT registered (#4790108825). In a case where VAT has been mistakenly left off a quote, please note that the quote will need to be corrected before the quote is accepted by “The Curries Group”.

Order only valid on acceptance of both the Client & “The Curries Group”.

Unless otherwise reduced in writing electrical contracting work is specifically excluded from any heating ventilation & air-conditioning (HVAC) installation. Power must be supplied by the client - we will connect power from an isolator or plug within 3m of the installed unit. Should the power point provided not be sufficient it is the clients responsibility (and cost) to upgrade the supply.

Waterproofing of roof or outside wall installations will not be guaranteed. The client must arrange for a qualified person or company for any waterproofing requirements.

Due to the nature of an Airconditioning / Solar / Inverter Backup installation units installed cannot under any circumstances be exchanged or returned. Should the client wish to move the unit this will be charged for at normal rates.

Please ensure that you and sales consultant are fully in agreement on the way the unit / units will be installed. Extra chasing, trunking, condensate pumps, electrical work in the distribution board and labour that need to be used over and above the original quote will be charged for at normal rates should the installation change from what was originally discussed. Please note that painting of trunking is not part of the installation.

Warranty will be shown on each individual quote but in the absence of a specific clause the following will apply:

  • A 12-month warranty applies to the labour, materials & equipment of a new installation.
  • A 3-month warranty applies to the labour and materials on repair / maintenance work completed.
